Trouble Rotating Photos
Photos taken on smartphones, tablets and some cameras tin expect cracking on your device just appear upside downwards or sideways when uploaded to a post or folio because the device stores the image's orientation in the EXIF metadata and not all software is able to read the metadata.
How you add fix an image issue in a post depends on if you are using the block editor or the archetype editor.
Block Editor
Y'all can rotate your image by clicking on the Ingather icon in the toolbar of the paradigm cake when using the block editor.
When y'all click on the Crop icon a pick of editing tools announced which allows yous to edit your paradigm within the editor.
Click on the Rotate icon to rotate your paradigm by 90°, 180°, 270°, or 360° and then click on Use to save the changes.
Whatsoever edits fabricated to the paradigm creates a new re-create of the image in your media library so it doesn't affect the paradigm if information technology is used in some other location.
Classic Editor
You lot can rotate an epitome using your archetype editor as follows:
1. Click on your inserted epitome to select it then click on the Edit icon (Pencil icon).
2. Click on Edit Original in the Image Details window.
3. Click on the Rotate icon.
iv. Click on Save.
five. Click Update.
What to practice near it
The solution is to ever take your photos and videos by holding the device in landscape mode with the home button on the correct.
This is the only way these devices know how to take pictures without rotation issues.
